I am a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying public relations.   My research focuses on two areas:

*  Crisis and disaster communications:  I am studying post-disaster public

     relations campaigns in New Orleans and post– tsunami Asia.

*  The role of social media and other new technologies in public relations: I    

    am studying how, through the ages, the field of public relations has  

    adapted to new technologies.
